What is Parent Council?
Parent Council welcomes all parents and guardians of Georgetown District High School to join our committee! We discuss various topics related to our GDHS school community.
Council meetings are once a month on a Tuesday evening at 6:30pm virtually. All parents and guardians are welcome! Contact Daniela Purves, Parent Council Chair (firstname.lastname@example.org), for the virtual meeting link.
Please engage with Parent Council on Facebook, where updates from meetings are shared, in addition to key information about school events and initiatives.
Parent Council runs the Guardian Angel/Building Memories Fund for students and families in financial need. If you are interested in donating to this worthy cause, we accept donations through School Cash Online. Donations are used to help support students for class trips, prom, graduation, school supplies, among many other needs.
Donate to Parent Council
As a school community we always come together to ensure all students have the opportunity to participate in activities, sporting events, and field trips regardless of their financial situation. Parent Council often funds these opportunities for students through the use of their Angel Fund. Please consider donating so we are able to continue to support all GDHS students.
